The Beauty Scenario Tag

I have finally convinced myself to do the Beauty Scenario Tag created by the gorgeous Lily Pebbles. She made this tag originally as a video on her YouTube channel which I was going to do the same until I decided that staying in my pajamas with no make up on sounded like a more appealing decision. So that's why you are seeing this on my blog and not my channel. Sorry?

I have Lily's links at the end of the post (she's one of my favourite bloggers so check her out if you haven't already!)

Basically what the tag is, is a list of questions regarding how you would react to a scenario to do with beauty... If that makes sense?

Anyway... Onto the tag!

1. You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?
This decision isn't too hard for me as I only ever keep 2 foundations at a time, however at the moment I don't currently have the two that I would pick. For my drugstore choice I would choose my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, it's simply my all time favourite foundation and I cannot say enough good things about it. It makes my skin look incredible whilst still feeling really light weight, it's one of the very few that caters for my excessively dry skin, which brings me onto the next product. For a high end foundation I definitely would choose Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua, like the Bourjois foundation it's perfect for those who have dry skin, as the the name suggests 'Aqua' it is water based which has it's benefits. The longevity surprised me, it lasted a good 10 hours in the Australian heat which is a must have. I really wish I still had this foundation as sadly it was only a tester but I will purchase it in the future for sure!

2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
My decision would vary depending on the actual interview. If it was a more casual, friendly interview I would probably tell her however if it was a serious interview I wouldn't acknowledge it. It would be really hard though because I will more than likely keep staring at it and she might pick up on that...

3. You're not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?
I love a bold lip which I would pick on more of a general basis but if I wasn't feeling myself I would go for something more safe and neutral rather than an outgoing red so probably Kate Moss for Rimmel's Lasting Finish in 07, it's my go to lipstick for a casual day and I feel it compliments my skin tone nicely.

4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
Well I still am a teenager so this question doesn't take me too far back but that doesn't mean I don't have any hair and make up regrets... Infact I have quite a few. I never wore a lot of make up as an early teen so there was my problem. I know of a lot of people who don't wear make up now but they can actually pull it off. 13 year old Clarissa, ehhh not so much. Down to genes I have inherited terrible bags under my eyes and really dark circles so under eye concealer is a must have. Aswell as concealer an eyebrow kit might be in order, I'm sure we have all been there... Plucking to your hearts content until there is only 3 strands of hair making up your eyebrows. Let's just say I needed a trip to a Benefit Brow counter. As for hair. There may have been a few incidents with bleach and dye... DIY ombré looked a lot easier than it was. I really regret not getting my hair thinned out too. I've always had really long thick hair until recently I took a trip to the hair dressers to get a decent amount chopped off and got it thinned out- something very new to me. I do miss my old hair and the main reason why I cut it all off was because it was too thick and long to handle. If I had of gotten it thinned out I might have never cut it this short. NO REGRETS!

5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixi cut. Do you a) Smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum hysterical b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward or c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.
A situation I have been in many at time. Many a time. I don't think I have ever been happy with a hair cut ever actually... But in this case it's on a whole new level. I would probably go with option a because I don't think I could ever have the guts to speak up. But I might cry on the spot. I know it's only hair but I am a really emotional person and sometimes I have no control!

6. Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which 'do it all' palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
BEST FRIEND EVER! Oh and yeah... Definitely my Chi Chi Neutrals pallete. It's an exact dupe for the original Naked Pallete so I have an array of neutral shadows that I can work into day and night and create endless looks. Also it being an affordable dupe I won't have to worry about it getting damaged as it is only 1/8 of the price. The packaging is also a little more slim and compact too.

7. Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
Anything really expensive or discontinued I guess. Mostly stuff purchased overseas that isn't so easy to replace. Oh and my Maybelline Watershine lipsticks! They are discontinued now and I'm quite upset about it because I only have two shades and I can't find them anywhere, not even in those sites who sell limited edition products.

8. Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven't noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs
If they were truly my friends they know I would notice (kinda OCD like that). But I would keep quite about it and maybe bring it up in a joking manner like "oh yeah remember that time when you cracked my powder" *cue laughter* and if they apologise I would say it's okay and if they offer to repurchase it that would just be a nice touch.

That's it! Finito! I hope you liked it. A bit different doing a tag on my blog but it was a nice change. Feel free to leave a link in the comments of your responses to the tag as I would love to read/watch them.
