Accidental Good Hair... (Oops)

On the early hours of the afternoon on a boring study filled Sunday, procrastination kicked in and well I went online shopping. I had been eyeing off a new hair curler for a long time. The one in particular being the VS Sassoon Curl Magic - a now discontinued styling tool. They are really rare now that they have been discontinued but I really really wanted one! I couldn't find any for sale anywhere other than eBay. On eBay I found one Curl Secret for a reasonable price but sadly it was bids only. I waited all Saturday to make a bid last minute so I could get it for as cheap as possible but sadly forgot by around 5 minutes! (Kicking myself! Arghh!) so there goes my dreams of getting that particular curling wand but never fear because my clumsiness somehow managed me to get a very similar product that I LOVE! 

I was browsing Amazon.com and came across the Conair YOU CURL Curling Wand. In appearance the two look remarkably similar, I was quick to add it to my cart and just as I was checking the tax (because I was shopping on the US website instead of the Australian one) my finger honestly slipped and I ended up placing an order without having to do any confirmation on the payment. So well now... I have this new curler...

As much of an accident that this whole purchase situation was I genuinely adore this curler. It's definitely the best hair tool I have ever used. Now that my hair is much shorter than I'm used to I'm finding it really difficult trying to style it. 98% time it's up in a bun or a ponytail. I have curled my hair using other tools that I own but they looked... Well crap really. I would normally like those curlers but on my hair now, not so much. After using this curler I am never turning back to anything! The only time I would have my hair down would be if I straightened it but that was just too plain and simple. I have always been a fan of the messy waves but could never achieve them. With the YOU CURL I have been able to create all sorts of looks, including updo's too. 

I don't really know what to say other than the fact that I love this curling wand. Dare I say it... It's changed my life! It's made styling my hair so simple and makes it look as if I've been styling it for ages but really I spent only a few minutes with very minimal effort. 

I guess the moral of this story is, don't accidentally place orders online for things you don't need, but do because it could leave you with fantastic hair!
