Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Today is my favourite thing in the worlds birthday. My dog, Bailey. He turns 8 years old today in human years but 56 in dog years, "they grow up so fast" *wipes away tear*. I thought today I will treat him to some homemade dog biscuits seeing as my sister thought it was a good idea to buy a jar of peanut butter knowing that no one in the family likes it apart from... Bailey. So I came up with this recipe to use up some of it in the hopes of pleasing my little boy.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup of Peanut Butter (I used crunchy but smooth would be easier to use)
- 1/3 cup of milk (depending on texture you may need a dash more)
- 3/4 cup of self raising flour

Preheat oven to 180 C fan forced.

Combine milk and peanut butter in a mixing bowl. You may need to warm up the milk slightly to help melt the peanut butter.

Add flour gradually, mixing in between each addition.

If mixture is too dry add a dash of milk.

Tip the dough onto a sheet of baking paper and cover with another sheet.

Roll out the dough to be around 4mm in thickness.

Cut out your biscuits with a cookie cutter. I used a small serrated round cutter but a bone shape cutter would be really cute too.

Place biscuits on a tray with baking paper, making sure that there is a little bit of space between them, but they shouldn't spread too much when cooked.

Cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to cooling rack to allow to cool and harden up a little.

Once cool, place in an air tight container for up to a month or so.

Thankyou for reading as always and I hope you decide to treat your best friend to these little biscuits because I'm sure they'll love you for it!

All my love xx
Clarissa
